Spokane Airport PFAS City/County Agreed Order comment period 2/6-3/9/26

Ecology invites you to review and comment on our Agreed Order with the City of Spokane and Spokane County and the updated Public Participation Plan for the Spokane International Airport PFAS cleanup site. The order requires the city and County to work with Spokane International Airport (SIA) to complete a remedial investigation and feasibility study. The city, county, and SIA are responsible for investigation and cleanup costs. Because SIA is already in progress on the work, it continues during this public comment period.


Ecology will consider and respond to all comments we receive during this public comment period. We will post our response to comments document on our SIA PFAS webpage and send the document to people who submitted comments.
